Tonight our group, Voces Angelorum, makes a rehearsal site change from our regular Lutheran Church to Trinity United Methodist Church, as we rehearse for our concert this Sunday. It's a memorial concert for a beloved organist who died an untimely death several years ago and was dearly loved by many. Several groups will be performing, the Tallahassee Boys' Choir will attract the most folks, as they are dearly loved in this region.
We will be performing six sacred selections, from the Baroque to 20th century, with a spiritual, Jordan's Angels by Rollo Dilworth, thrown in that we truly adore.
This is part of my prayer time as singing, as St. Augustine stated to sing is to pray twice. I must say it is one of the easier times I have to pray....most of the time!
